The Domaine international de Rouville is a resort including a campsite and a 27-hole golf course located near the Rougemont and Saint-Hilaire mountains, in the heart of the Montérégie panorama. Pioneers since 1972 in the democratization of sport, we pay special attention to the recreational aspect and learning the game.

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of equipment and vehicles used on the golf course. Under the supervision of the Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for the proper operation of the machines to ensure optimal maintenance of the course.

The salary offered is $27 to $37/hour, depending on the candidate's experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on lawn mowers, golf carts, tractors and other motorized equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and provide effective solutions.

• Maintain an inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs.

• Ensure that equipment complies with current safety standards.

• Make adjustments and sharpen mower blades and cylinders.

• Work collaboratively with grounds maintenance team to ensure efficient use of equipment.

Qualifications and skills:

• Experience in mechanics of golf equipment, agricultural equipment, landscaping or small engines (an asset).

• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and gasoline/diesel systems.

• Ability to quickly diagnose and repair faults.

• Good organization and autonomy in work.

• Attention to detail and rigor in preventive maintenance.

• Valid driving license.
